Are you an expert in value-based selling? And do you have a passion for finding insulation solutions for our customers?

In the role of Account Manager Benelux at Thermaflex’s business unit Insulation, you are responsible for acquiring new customers and maintaining and developing existing customer relationships. For Thermaflex, account management means more than just customer support. It’s about building a trusting customer relationship that allows you to identify potential needs and development opportunities. This enables us to offer the best solutions and/or develop customer focused (innovative) solutions.

 

The customers you will serve amongst others are OEMs operating in the HVAC market, such as manufacturers of heat pumps, piping systems. Other examples outside the HVAC related businesses are: manufacturers seeking energy savings, acoustics insulation and/or protective cushioning by deploying a recyclable and “green” foam. Part of our products are sold through wholesale and DIY channels. You will work closely with your colleagues within the group and report directly to the Commercial Director Europe.

  • As an Account Manager Benelux at Thermaflex, you ensure the implementation of the sales strategy in the Benelux region.
  • You take care of existing customers and go beyond simply maintaining relationships. This also means identifying and developing new opportunities.
  •  In addition to managing current relationships, you are constantly exploring new opportunities in the market and are not afraid to approach prospects and convert them into customers.
  • You are also responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring customer projects. Examples of projects include: insulating datacenters, HVAC systems in maritime objects, commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • You expand customer activities by identifying and seizing opportunities.
  • Additionally, you actively contribute to the ongoing development of Thermaflex products and services in line with customer needs.
  • You participate in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Drafting and processing contracts and quotations also fall under your responsibilities.
  • You work closely with your colleagues from Business Development, Product Development, and Customer Service.

  • You have a commercial/technical education (preferably HBO) level of thinking and working.
  • You have technical affinity and knowledge of the insulation branche.
  • You are professional and skilled discussion partner for engineers in finding and advising on insulation solutions. 
  • You are a team player and can engage and stimulate other team members in developing exiting opportunities with you.
  • You also have experience in consultative sales, solution sales, and value-added selling.
  • You have experience with both direct and indirect B2B channels. Knowledge of OEM customers is a plus.
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English. German is a plus.
  • Additionally, you are proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM systems.
  • You have experience in account management, sales, and supporting projects from acquisition to execution.
  • You are based in the Netherlands.
  • You are energetic, flexible, resilient, and an enthusiastic team player and networker
  • You are also proactive, precise, and goal-oriented.
  • You quickly familiarize yourself with our products and solutions.
  • You are able to deploy the (basic) principles of insulation in developing and selling the business
  • You are a self-starter who can work independently in a remote team.
  • You are well-organized, structured, and ready to take on responsibility.
  • You are empathetic, communicative, and ambitious.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality.
  • Additionally, you can build and convince others in confidential and long-term business relationships.
